More Bird Flu In Turkey

It isn't looking real good right now.

Five new human cases of bird flu have been identified in several Turkish provinces, pushing the number of infected up to 14, officials say. The cases, confirmed by Turkey as being of the deadly H5N1 strain, mean the virus is now present in the east, north and centre of the country.

At least we are still not seeing human to human transmission.

I just can't believe it is in Turkey now. How long til it's in the USA. Fills me with dread. And how do you protect yourself, what do you use? Plenty of sites are just trying to sell you drugs or breathing masks. There are some sites though that give you all the info including prevention methods that cost you nothing. Sites like deadlypandemic.com among others.
