the GOP, deeply stung by Rep. John Murtha's call for withdraw from Iraq, turned to political stunts.

WASHINGTON - The House on Friday overwhelmingly rejected calls for an immediate troop withdrawal from Iraq, a vote engineered by the Republicans that was intended to fail.

So instead of taking this opportunity to make a clear evaluation of our current position, our true goal, and it's opportunity for success, the republicans turn to name calling.

Typical, sad but typical.
