The only thing that is destroying America's promise of democracy is the refusal by some white people to accept black people as full citizens of the United States.

The anti-black segment of white American society consider black people to as their enemies. They consider it a victory when they are able to keep black people down. They are very short sighted and foolish.
For the past two decades the focus of our elected officials has been on Race and other non-essential issues (i.e., how to keep the black man down; how to keep women down; and how to make easy money etc.).

As a U.S. Military Veteran, I volunteered 6 years service on the front lines of the Cold War. That was the War that America won! I am disappointed because my reward for helping achieve victory over communism, is to witness greedy anti-black radicals take control of the United States Government.

My African ancestors did not voluntarily come to the English Colonies in North America or the United States! They were taken as prisoners and forced to work for generations, without compensation or any other form of acknowledgement for their labor. As matter of fact, descendents of the African captives (called slaves) , are still being persecuted 150 years after being granted the rights of citizenship.

It is illogical for anti-blacks to hate black people in the first place. The majority of the people in the World know what has happened and what continues to happen to black people in the United States.

China, India, Pakistan, Iran and many other countries have been focusing their attention on promising issues like developing nuclear energy, developing space, economic issues and educational priorities.

I hope that racism in the United States will someday pass, for what pain and needless suffering it causes!
