It appears that we need to look at how well we are supporting our troops. Sunday four members of the US Marine Corp were arrested in Columbia. It appears that they were up here from the post at Parris Island doing a little recruiting or organization work for the Crips.
Aside from obvious concerns about gang development in the Midlands of South Carolina, it should be very disturbing that gang members and other highly undesirable people are operating so freely within our armed forces

I read a story about gangs in the military several months ago. There was a lot of resistence to accepting this, kind of a "that isn't really happening in OUR military". Unfortunately, I'm not surprised by any of it.
The New York Sun has a story about gangs also.

I can be 100% sure, but for some reason I don't think that giving gangs, or neo-nazis advanced millitary training is in the best interest of our country.

Maybe Crips (or militia men) with solid battle training will increase domestic stability.
we see alot of gang violence, but at least they are aptly named the crips and the bloods usually end up crippled and bloody.

The Marine Corps, and every other military service, has always had undesirables.
I was in the Corps 25 years ago, and a group of white supremicists in my company tried to get me to join them.
But the Corps, and the other services, are generally representative of the country they serve. This group of Crips is no more representative of the Corps than it is of the nation.

Good Lord Lady! Are you going to tell me that Military Training taught Timothy Mcveigh how to combine horseshit and diesel fuel together to make a bomb? I was 8 years old and was making bombs out of every day items we had around the house. It certainly wasnt my intention to go out and blow anything up. The "Bad Guys" are everywhere. You deal with them when they pop up. To assume the Military is training Gangs and Terrorists you are sadly mistaken. To think that anyone, I dont care who you are could stop this type of thing from happening is also sadly mistaken. They certainly do not put this on the resume when they put in an application, and with all the Liberal crap about, "Dont ask, Dont tell. we cannot even ask them if they have any affiliation to a certain group, or gang related ties. The ACLU a liberal organization would be down our throats for asking such a thing. Oh and we cannot profile a person either, heaven forbid the huge Tattoo thats says Crips be a dead give away, or the Gang Logo branded into their Bicep be any kind of indicator.

The armed forces use to be very agressive in removing these types of people when they were IDed, but due to current man power issues, they are tending to turn a blind eye.
Another byproduct of our foolishness in Iraq.
The real interesting part is how some of these undisrable groups are now encouraging members to join up to get more arms and combat training, make contacts and recruit.
When the war in Iraq is over, and the armed forces are patched up, I suspect that an agressive removal will occure.
what happens to these trained, displaced and antisocial warriors will be worth following, since that exactly describes mr T. McVeigh
