He cuts Medicare, and what looks like almost every other domestic service program. He doesn't include the cost of the Iraq war, the Afghan war and Gulf coast reconstruction, and adds $100,000,000,000.00 to the deficit.
Even member of his own party have denounce this as a bad joke.
One advantage of this budget is it give us a chance to look at actions compared to words. Bush talked about wanting to train thousands of new math and science teachers. He talked about the importance of these skills in developing our nation and economy.
Nice talk, good ideas, noble goals,
He then cut funding for the education department by about 25%.
All that nice talk, without backing it up in action, just proves them to be more lies.
