Oversight, We Don't Need No Stinking Oversight

The Republican controlled congress is again abdicating is responsibility to act as a check and balance to the Executive branch.

GOP senators, White House block domestic spying probe

Senate Republicans blocked a proposed investigation of President Bush's domestic spying operation Thursday as the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee said he had reached an agreement with the White House to pursue legislation establishing clearer rules for the controversial program.

It can be spying on the citizen's of the US, or appointing unqualified political hacks to FEMA, there is no act that this Republican administration can take that our Republican congress can not ignore or excuse.

And just think back, this is the same group that spent millions of dollars investigating the Clinton's Christmas card mailing list.

Hypicritical and inept, the definition of far to many of the Republicans in the House and Senate.
