Gonzales Gets A Second Chance

To lie to congress. To add a little humor to this charade, Sen. Specter(R-Pa), who has gone on record questioning the legality of Bush' domestic spying program, has now refused a Democtatic request to swear in Gonzales. He is allowing him to testify while not under oath.

I guess this way another perjury charge can not be laid at the door of the Bush administration.

UPDATE
And while Gonzales makes his sales pitch, we find that the spying is very ineffective.

officials conversant with the program said a far more common question for eavesdroppers is whether, not why, a terrorist plotter is on either end of the call. The answer, they said, is usually no.

They are snooping into call between friends, business meetings, lovers, in the hopes of maybe finding someone who is even a little suspicious.
