gematt, the word is spelled guarantee. And why did it take 55 days to decide this guy was not a terrorist but only 24 hours to fly the Saudi Royals safely out of the U.S. after 9-11?
when do two wrongs EVER make a right? How does one crime justify another?
If you bother to read the story, it was clear only a day or two into his confinment that the taxi held the timers, but he was not aware of their existance.
He was abused, held wihout beling able to contact his family or legal help, and held long after he and his family were advised that he was not suspected of any illegal act.
