The IRA has formally ordered an end to its armed campaign and says it will pursue exclusively peaceful means. In a long-awaited statement, the republican organisation said it would follow a democratic path ending more than 30 years of violence.
I pray that we don't have to spend he next 3+ decades fighting the 'war or terror' or as ti si renamed 'the global struggle against extremism', but I fear if we continue down the inept path Bush has outlined, we have far more that 30 years ahead of us.
