Precursor to the end of Legal Contraception?

or is it just Rick Santorum again putting his boundless stupidity on display.

It appears that he is now proposing that Griswold v. Connecticut (the 1967 court ruling that made contraception legal) was bad law, and states should have the right to regulate the use of contraception.

What is interesting is that political movements often float wild trial balloons or extreme positions using those who's statements are often seen as absurd. So that leaves the question, is this just Rick being Rick, or after they kill Roe v. Wade, will Griswold be the next ruling under attack?
