The Republican Culture of Corruption

and other evidence of slime, Friday's roundup.

The Toledo Blade is showing the rest of the world what investigative journalism is all about. They have led the way on 'coingate' and now have added this.

COLUMBUS : Tom Noe used state money to try to pump up an online gambling company in which he and other prominent Republicans were investors, records show.

Mr. Noe invested at least $100,000 of the state's rare-coin money into financially troubled Games Inc., which has plummeted in value in the last year as its CEO Roger Ach II, a politically connected Cincinnati businessman, sought public contracts.

The people at Fox News (a division of the Republican National Committee) display just how much they are willing to twist the truth to hide the errors of the right.

Yesterday morning on "Fox News Live" ( I filled that in ) was basically saying that the Brazilian that the london police shot and killed was actually all part of Al Quaeda's plan to dress up Brazilian's and other tan-skinned people and have them run from the police and get shot just to make us look bad. Amazing that Fox always manages to justify anything the U.S. or British do, even when there are MISTAKES made!!

Crooks and Liars has the video of this sick justification.

The Free Press is looking at how the actions of the Ohio Republican Party in coingate may be tied to the 2004 Presidential election in Ohio.

As if there was ever any real doubt, John Bolton did lie to congress durring his hearings. Of course this now assures his appointment to the UN, since the surest way to gain a raise or promotion in the Bush White House is to be inept or to lie cheat and steal.

And Speaking of Raises, Karl 'the Traitor' Rove just recievied a pay raise.
