Not So Intelligent Design, Exposed, Again

The latest tactic being used by supporters of Not So Intelligent Design is to argue that we need to both 'teach the argument' and learn to 'critically analyze' evolution. These points have even been rolled out by some of those promoting bad science in South Carolina, including Karen Floyd, the republican hopeful for State Superintendent of Education.

The fine folks at the discovery institute have tried to argue that teaching the argument and critically analysis of evolution doesn't mean teaching Intelligent Design (creationism for the new century). Unfortunately for the fine DI folks, they just can not resist running their mouths, and have admitted that these ploys are just more lies in the effort to destroy science education.

It really is ID in disguise. The entire purpose behind all of this is to shift it into schools...

A much more detailed explanation, and discussion will be going on at Dispatches From The Culture Wars.

After the beating these folks took in Dover, you would think they would learned this lesson.

No one talks about a third theory: 'Incompetent Design'. Much of life shows that if it were designed, the designers are not very bright (e.g. the human backbone, the path of the sciatic nerve, the appendix, or tons of 'garbage' in the DNA helices of life forms). The space aliens blamed for creating living things have unfortunately left our solar system... otherwise they could and should be prosecuted for practicing engineering without a license...

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon.
