While the US media (and thus the US Population) is totally focused on Lebanon, the rest of the middle east (and other near by parts of the world) continue their decline.

The situation is Iraq continues to worsen, It's dying before our eyes.
In the north of Iraq, conflict along the border with Turkey is heating up, and Turkey is getting very unhappy.
And now I am going to leave this behind and visit a beautiful tall ship, and pretend all is well for the rest of the day.
