Follow the lead of Rep. John Doolittle (R-Ca.). Just establish a Political Action Committee (or Charity) hire a family member to help 'fund raise' for that group and pay them a 'commission' on every contribution that comes in.
In the past two years, campaign and political action committees controlled by Rep. John Doolittle, R-Calif., paid ever-larger commissions to his wife's one-person company
{snip}
Doolittle's wife, Julie, a professional fundraiser, has collected 15 percent of all contributions to Doolittle's leadership PAC and additional commissions on contributions to his campaign committee — a total of nearly $140,000 since 2003
Not a bad little one person enterprise, and a very effective way of skimming of contributions for personal enrichment. I wonder how many politicians in South Carolina have considered similar operations.
