"This Business Will Get Out Of Control.

It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it."

This line from "The Hunt For Red October" was denouncing a confusing escalation in a conflict with Russia that appeared to be leading to open war. Now in Lebanon, things continue to escalate, and if this continues we could face open, multinational warfare, in Israel, in a couple of days.

Early today Israel bombed the Airport in Beirut, now rockets have hit Haifa.

So it will not doubt continue; Israel will attack a power plant, or a few bridges, or maybe some governmental offices, then someone will respond with rockets or terrorist bombs. At some point this now lit match will hit a pool of gas, and a real explosion will occur.

UPDATE
Yep - Israel attacks Beirut's airport, again.

Israel has already bombed a few bridges. No one ever mentions that Israeli soldiers walked into Lebanon territory, and they got whanged on the head by the "Hizballs".

Thanks for the heads up on 'The State' eric, I never saw it.

Romunov, that was one point I have been confused on. Very few mentions on where and how the Israeli troops were captured. Of the few mentions I have seen both versions reported, that they were minding their own buisness in Israel, and that they were actually patroling inside Lebanon.

That is a rather important fact that needs to be cleared up.

thank to both of you for your posts.
