Israel Is Hinting That A

Major escalation in their current war may be coming.

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Israeli troops met fierce resistance from Hezbollah guerrillas Thursday as they crossed into Lebanon to seek tunnels and weapons for a second straight day, and Israel hinted at a full-scale invasion.

While Israel's attack on Beirut, the infrastructure, and the Armed forces of Lebanon was foolish and counter productive, if they are serious about hitting Hezbollah, this is the way to do it.

Israel's initial response only enraged the population against them, and played into Hezbollah's hand. Every day they are killing scores of civilians, and doing little to address the true threat to their nation. By moving into the area's that Hezbollah operates, they have an actual chance to hit at those who are hitting at them.

unfortunately, Israel has also made disengagement once they are in Lebanon more difficult. They can not leave a void when they pull out, and they don't dare stay. If they has not been busy doing so much damage to the country of Lebanon, and it's armed forces, the ideal solution would be to turn over cleansed areas to the army of Lebanon. If Israel goes in, and remembers is lesion from it last invasion of this area and pulls out quickly, they will have to get a UN mission in place very quickly. Otherwise, this whole mess, the deaths, the damage, the waste, will have to be done a gain as Hezbollah will move back in.

Update
It looks official, Israel tells civilians you have 24 hours to flee. And the UN is calling for a cease fire

UN can't work in this one, unless the bomb the crap out of Israel. Why should they clean up after this bully messed everything up? Let them and Americans pay for it.
