When Is A Cease Fire Not A Cease Fire?

Well, it appears to be when the US announces one,

The announcement of a pause in airstrikes was made after midnight by State Department spokesman J. Adam Ereli to reporters traveling with Rice.

And, Israel ignores it.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says there will be no cease-fire in coming days.

I guess this does disproves the argument that Israel is a puppet of the US, but it leaves open the debate over is the Bush administration a puppet of Israel.
